Samer Choucair: Saudi Arabia Has Become a Global Platform for Wealth Creation and Investment Opportunities Under Vision 2030

Investment entrepreneur Samer Choucair affirmed that the significant increase in the Saudi Public Investment Fund's (PIF) net profit during 2025 reflects the success of Saudi Arabia's long-term investment model and highlights the growing range of opportunities available to investors and entrepreneurs across sectors aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.

Choucair explained that the Public Investment Fund's announcement of a rise in net profit to SAR 65.1 billion in 2025, compared with SAR 25.8 billion in 2024, alongside a 9% increase in revenue to SAR 449.9 billion and total assets reaching approximately $1.21 trillion, represents far more than strong financial performance. It demonstrates the effectiveness of a long-term strategy that combines financial returns with national economic development.

He noted that these results underscore Saudi Arabia's ongoing economic transformation, with major national projects creating new engines of growth while the Kingdom continues expanding its global investment portfolio and diversifying its assets to strengthen long-term economic resilience.

According to Choucair, this growth is the result of a clear strategy focused on transformational projects under Vision 2030, combined with diversified international investments that enhance the Kingdom's ability to achieve sustainable growth and create new investment opportunities.

Choucair emphasized that the Public Investment Fund has become one of the world's most distinctive sovereign wealth funds. While many leading sovereign funds primarily focus on global investments and stable long-term returns, the PIF uniquely combines strong financial performance with direct contributions to Saudi Arabia's economic development through strategic domestic investments.

He added that the Fund achieved more than 152% growth in net profit, alongside continued expansion of its asset base, reflecting the success of investments in flagship projects such as NEOM, The Red Sea, Qiddiya, and Diriyah, while maintaining a diversified global portfolio that balances economic development with investment performance.

Choucair said, *"The doubling of the Public Investment Fund's profits is not merely a financial achievement—it is clear evidence that strategic investing which combines financial returns with national development delivers sustainable results. This model should inspire every investor seeking to build long-term value."*

He continued, *"Saudi Vision 2030 is more than a government strategy; it is a roadmap showing where capital, demand, and future opportunities are heading. The real investment opportunities today extend beyond mega-projects to include supply chains, technology providers, service companies, and innovative businesses that support these developments."*

Choucair stressed that Saudi Arabia has become one of the world's most attractive investment destinations thanks to continuous regulatory reforms, world-class infrastructure, support for innovation, and the expanding role of the private sector in national development.

*"Saudi Arabia is no longer simply an investment destination,"* he said. *"It has become a comprehensive platform for wealth creation, combining modern regulations, advanced infrastructure, ambitious mega-projects, and diverse investment opportunities."*

He added that successful investing in the coming years requires a long-term strategic perspective based on diversification across domestic and international investments while focusing on sectors driving Saudi Arabia's economic transformation.

*"Successful investing depends on disciplined long-term planning,"* Choucair said. *"The Public Investment Fund has demonstrated how combining transformational domestic investments with global diversification creates sustainable growth."*

He further explained that investors and entrepreneurs can benefit from the opportunities generated by major national projects by investing in businesses that provide supporting products and services across sectors including technology, tourism, renewable energy, healthcare, logistics, and construction.

Choucair also highlighted the importance of building strategic partnerships within the Public Investment Fund's ecosystem, noting that such collaborations accelerate growth, enhance market access, and create new expansion opportunities both locally and internationally.

He added that Saudi Arabia's modern regulatory framework, including reforms to investment regulations and the establishment of special economic zones, has significantly strengthened the Kingdom's appeal to both domestic and international investors, reinforcing its position as a global investment hub.

Concluding his remarks, Choucair stated that the Public Investment Fund's latest results mark the beginning of a new phase of economic and investment growth in Saudi Arabia, encouraging investors to capitalize on the momentum created by Vision 2030.

*"Saudi Arabia is not only offering investment opportunities—it is building a comprehensive economic ecosystem for sustainable wealth creation,"Choucair concluded. "The future will belong to investors who have a clear strategic vision and take action today to become part of this historic economic transformation.
