Samer Choucair: Saudi Arabia’s Leadership in Safety Indicators Strengthens Investment Appeal Under Vision 2030

Investment entrepreneur Samer Choucair stated that Saudi Arabia’s high levels of public safety are among the most important factors enhancing the Kingdom’s investment environment. He noted that social stability plays a vital role in strengthening investor confidence and supporting sustainable economic growth in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Samer Choucair explained that official data from the 2025 Sustainable Development Goals indicators showed that the overall sense of safety in residential neighborhoods reached **97.7%**, including **97.0% among Saudi citizens** and **98.2% among non-Saudis**. The figures also showed a reported sense of safety of **94.9% among women** and **99.1% among men**, reflecting the effectiveness of the Kingdom’s public security framework and reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s position as an attractive destination for living, working, and investing.

Samer Choucair said, “Investment is not driven solely by financial indicators. It is also closely linked to the stability of the economic and social environment. The higher the level of public safety, the greater a market’s ability to attract capital, skilled talent, and sustained economic activity.”

He added that a secure environment supports the growth of several key sectors, particularly tourism, hospitality, real estate, financial services, and technology. According to Samer Choucair, strong public safety increases investor confidence, reduces operational risks, and enhances the Kingdom’s ability to attract multinational companies and entrepreneurs.

He also noted that the continued implementation of Saudi Vision 2030 projects, combined with ongoing infrastructure development and improvements to the business environment, is creating promising investment opportunities across the Kingdom. He emphasized that investors are placing increasing importance on stability and sound governance when making long-term investment decisions.

Samer Choucair encouraged investors to focus on sectors aligned with Saudi Arabia’s economic transformation and to capitalize on opportunities created by major projects in tourism, logistics, technology, and real estate development. He also emphasized the importance of adopting long-term investment strategies based on careful analysis of economic and sector-specific indicators.

In conclusion, Samer Choucair stressed that Saudi Arabia continues to strengthen its competitiveness by combining social stability, regulatory development, and the implementation of strategic projects. He noted that these factors will further reinforce the Kingdom’s position as one of the region’s leading investment destinations in the years ahead.
