Samer Choucair: Growing Artificial Intelligence Adoption Supports Capital Opportunities Under Vision 2030

Entrepreneur Samer Choucair said the adoption of artificial intelligence tools in Saudi Arabia reaching 45.2% during 2025 reflects a significant transformation in the digital economy and strengthens the Kingdom’s appeal to investment in advanced technologies and digital infrastructure, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Choucair noted that the Saudi Internet 2025 report issued by the Communications, Space and Technology Commission showed continued growth in the adoption of artificial intelligence among internet users.

Usage reached 52.8% among women, compared with 39.4% among men. Tabuk recorded the highest regional adoption rate at 58.5%, followed by the Eastern Province at 53.8% and Madinah at 50.8%.

Samer Choucair explained that these indicators reflect the maturity of Saudi Arabia’s digital infrastructure, supported by the expansion of high-speed telecommunications networks and public- and private-sector investment in data centres and cloud computing.

This is accelerating the integration of artificial intelligence across a wide range of economic sectors.

Choucair noted that rising adoption rates represent more than an increase in the use of digital applications.

They also indicate growing demand for artificial intelligence solutions in education, healthcare, financial services, e-commerce, and government services, creating promising opportunities for investors and technology institutions.

“Institutional investors are increasingly focusing on companies capable of converting this widespread adoption into sustainable business models,” Samer Choucair said.

He explained that these opportunities include software development, cloud solutions, and specialized artificial intelligence applications designed to meet the needs of the domestic market.

Choucair added that differences in adoption rates across the Kingdom’s regions create opportunities to expand digital investment in areas that still possess significant growth potential, helping advance digital inclusion and more balanced development.

He explained that continued investment in digital infrastructure, alongside government initiatives supporting innovation, will strengthen Saudi Arabia’s position as a regional artificial intelligence hub.

It will also increase the Kingdom’s appeal to global companies and investment funds seeking exposure to high-growth markets.

Concluding his statement, Samer Choucair emphasized that artificial intelligence has become one of the most important drivers of productivity and competitiveness in the Saudi economy.

He noted that companies investing early in the development of local solutions and the effective use of data will be best positioned to benefit from the next phase of digital growth and attract long-term capital.
